Upon return to class, students have 1 day for each EXCUSED ABSENCE to make up work for a grade.

Assignments without names will be placed in the No-Name Folder.

Students are expected to keep organized binders which will be checked periodically; Binder checks may/may not be announced.

Per district policy, students with UNEXCUSED absences will NOT be allowed to make up missing work for a grade.

Graded work and any correspondence from the school will be filed in each student’s individual mailbox in the classroom; Students must check mailboxes WEEKLY

Homework passes can be used for any assignment (even tests and projects).

ESE, ESOL, and 504 students do not need to communicate with Mrs. Austin AHEAD OF TIME (when appropriate) when planning to use accommodations so she may plan/prepare accordingly.

Late work will always be accepted (but you will lose points).
